My technique of photography and image editing explained in an understandable way, lots of visual material and before and after's of previous works. 

For the practical part I always provide nice models and I take you to locations where I show you the most ideal places and why, so that you can search for the ideal environment and atmosphere at any location.

​

During this workshop we work in groups of 8 people, and in the practical part we provide a breakdown per lens type.  

​

NECESSITIES

​

  • SLR/mirrorless camera & a prime (from 85mm)

      or zoom lens with a low aperture value           †  f2.8, f1.8, f1.4..)  

  • Own laptop/ PC/ iMac  

  • Adobe Photoshop CC installed on your laptop/PC/iMac

​

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Control of aperture, shutter speed and ISO and you can apply it in practice

  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop tools, layers and masks.

  • morning: practice shooting

  • before and after examples

  • follow a complete post-processing according to my personal workflow  

  • edit eyes and fur

  • remove unwanted objects

  • adjust colors

  • dodge & burn

  • sharpen/remove noise

  • save in high and low resolution

After the workshop

 

  • certificate of participation

  •   access to the 'Dogs and Tails Training & Workshop' group, in a private Facebook environment where you can ask all your questions.

  requirements :  â€‹

  • number of participants 4

  • including soft drinks, coffee, snacks

  • excluding travel and overnight stay

  • Non-refundable deposit  of 150€ required to confirm your registration.

  • Remaining amount must be paid at least 2 weeks before the start of the workshop.

  • When you register, you will receive an email with  the payment details.

  • Deliver 2 photo files per model to the owners for free

  • photos taken during this workshop may not be submitted for competitions

  • persons who give workshops themselves are excluded from participation  

  • Conditions are contractually agreed

FOR WHOM?

These workshops are entirely focused on dog photography and image editing in Adobe Photoshop, tailored to beginning and advanced photographers.  Hobby/amateur photographers, novice photographers, advanced photographers and photographers in primary and secondary occupation whose sole activity is offering photo sessions to private individuals, are welcome to participate in the workshops.

​

Required *:

  • You master shutter speed, aperture and ISO and you can apply these in practice. 

  • You have the basic knowledge of the Photoshop tools layers and masks and know how to use them.  

​

FOR WHOM NOT?

  • Beginners who shoot in AUTO mode and have no knowledge of working in manual mode (I like to refer these people to our beginners workshop )  

  • Persons who offer or plan to offer photography workshops and/or post-processing workshops/video tutorials in the future in the same specialization are not allowed to participate.  

  • Persons who already practice photography as a secondary profession or fully independent main profession and who are located in the immediate vicinity of postal code 3271. (ref. general conditions/FAQ)

Gear

​

  • An SLR camera or system camera that you can operate manually.

  • Accompanying (photosensitive) zoom lens  or prime lens of at least 85mm.  

  • Charged battery(ies).

  • Empty memory card.  

  • Clothing that can withstand some dirt.

  • laptop/Imac/PC with photoshop CC installed.

  • card reader or cable to connect your camera to computer for download

  • These workshops take place in Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, Belgium, unless stated otherwise.

  • Maximum number of participants : 8
